About me

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, working with Jared Murray. Prior to joining UT, I received my PhD in Statistics at Arizona State University, under Richard Hahn’s supervision. My research interests center around machine learning for causal inference.
I built and continue to maintain stochtree which provides flexible stochastic decision tree ensembles for supervised learning and causal inference in R and Python APIs. I am very interested in high-performance computing and hardware acceleration, particularly techniques that can speed up tree-based algorithms.
